7 month zepaversary soon!
7 months on this lifechanging journey and wanted to make my first real post here to talk about it!
28 M, 171 CM / 5'8"-ish
SW: approx. 292 lbs, 133 kg
CW: approx. 175 lbs, 79.5 kg
My last labs were in January and my cholesterol is significantly reduced, my prediabetes was reversed and I no longer snore, allegedly lol
I was prescribed 2.5 on October 29th, 2025 and started a couple days later and made my gym membership the same day. I had pretty much no side effects except maybe some fatigue when increasing to 5mg and 7.5mg, but otherwise nothing noteworthy other than constipation solved by psyllium husk
At the start, I wasn't strength training for the first couple of weeks but since late November I've been consistently doing it, going to the gym 5-7 times a week and in 2026 I've made sure to always get at least 10k steps in regardless
Other than zepbound, I took black seed oil pills on and off (the studies on fat loss done were predominantly done on women, but I took it anyways since it didn't seem like it ONLY worked on women), I put collagen in my coffee daily (could be pseudosciencey but even if it doesn't work it's extra protein), and I guess I can count caffeine lol, a coffee a day in the morning
In collaboration with my doctor, we decided to only spend 28 days on each dose and titrate up every time. I'm currently on 15mg and loving it, but this is NOT the only valid way to do this. I just personally wanted to lose a bit quicker since I'm on the younger side and knew that some of the pitfalls of faster weight loss would likely not affect me as much (I could be wrong, but hey, already almost at goal and all good so) - titrating slowly is perfectly valid and better for the wallet :)
This journey has been amazing and I'm not done yet but I can safely say that every single facet of my life is significantly better than it was before.
Thanks for reading! Here if anyone has any questions
