5 month old pee is orange
I really need some advise here
My 5 month old’s pee has been orange/dark yellow for the past two weeks. Even though the culture result is not here yet, the normal pee test came normal. I started formula at 5 months ONLY when I put him to bed. 5-6oz depending on when he last had a bottle. Doctor gave a test for stool too but he hasnt pooped in 6 days now and has been passing gas that smells really bad. He used to poop everyday before this. He has at least 6 wet diapers everyday takes around 36oz of milk in 24 hours. Doctor said he might be dehydrated but said if he is taking that much milk he should not be dehydrated. Also he has been gaining weight perfectly fine. His stomach isn’t bloated or hard. So pediatrician suggested we start solids. So yesterday I gave him avocado and water. Even though he didnt poop, he slept well last night after two nights of constant wake ups while crying and stretching like he was in pain. But his pee was still orange this morning. Idk what to do
