Your Mac lock screen is a wasted opportunity — here’s what I did about it
Every time you lock your Mac you stare at a blank screen or a clock.
That’s it. Nothing happens. You check your phone instead and end up on Instagram for 20 minutes.
I wanted my breaks to actually feel like breaks — not just “not working.” So I built GameLock.
What it does:
Lock your Mac → full screen mini arcade appears → play games during your break → unlock when ready.
The idea is simple. Games actually switch your brain off from work mode. Five minutes of Snake is more restorative than five minutes of staring at your phone because you had nothing else to do.
