Batocera with Dolphin using Hotkey combinations
I’m using Batocera v43 with a Warrior Lite Bluetooth controller. I paired it in Batocera and then mapped it manually, since it didn’t seem to assign a Hotkey automatically. Also, the Home and Settings buttons on the Warrior Lite don’t seem to respone, not sure if they only work in Switch mode and not over Bluetooth.
I also created a controller profile in Dolphin and enabled custom profiles in the settings so it uses that configuration.
When I launch a GameCube game through Dolphin, I can exit using Hotkey + Start. However, pressing Hotkey + South doesn’t open the in-game menu I expected (for things like save states). The only thing that works is Hotkey + East, which brings up some kind of quick menu but makes the game in the background stutter a lot.
I did manage to save a state using some button combination at some point, but there was no on-screen notification or overlay confirming it. I only realized it worked after enabling the save state manager in the general settings.
Any help on how to properly open the in-game menu or enable notifications for save states would be appreciated. It feels like I might be missing something in the controller setup.
