I'm 23 YO and will soon be graduating with a masters degree in structural engineering and 1.5 YOE. I've applied to several jobs and have received a couple offers from two very different companies. The first is a Bridge EIT at Jacobs - the pay is above market average and the projects I'd get to work on would likely be some of the larger ones happening in Canada. The second is a general Structural EIT at a small firm ( < 60 people). The pay is quite a bit lower and the projects would be much smaller in scale (small bridges, buildings, and temporary works), but by the sounds of things you may get more experience with all stages of the project delivery. As a new grad, which firm may offer the best learning and growth potential to start my career in structural engineering?
