Hello everyone!

I'm painting my old dog who passed over the rainbow bridge last year.

I'm not quite finished yet. I'm not sure what to do for the background. I plan on framing this and putting it in the living room which is a deep sapphire blue. Do I just keep the background as a pale blue or change it up?
