How should I take ibuprofen?

Hi! I am a young woman with no diagnoses, but my chronic pain has become much more severe and invalidating, to the point where it's making it impossible to live my life. I get severe cramps around my period and ovulation (they make me want to throw up and I struggle to walk) and they are both followed by a pulsating headache that impairs my vision.

I also have anemia.

My question is: what would the smartest way to take over the counter medication be? I am considering taking up to 2800mg-3200mg of ibuprofen a cycle. But I need to take it before the pain becomes severe, or else it won't have any effect whatsoever.

How much ibuprofen is it safe to take in a month?

(I am finally under doctor supervision and am going to get my blood and my abdomen checked. The pain has just become unbearable and I need to find a way to manage it. I don't want to burden those around me)

Thank you in advance
