Where to start LVP with a few tricky spots

We’re installing Flooret base (48”x 6”) LVP in our basement that got flooded. I was dry fitting the flooring to prep before install (yes, underlayment will go on first when I do it for real). And came across a few issues. I’ve attached a picture of the space with a key, and I naturally assume to work in the corner where the star is with a staggered start pattern of full board, half board, 1/3 board, 2/3 board. The first issue is that in one corner of the room it’s angled for a sump pump closer ( the triangle). I know that stagger won’t give me any slivers in a rectangular room, but can any one foresee any issues with accidentally forming a teeny tiny triangle?

The second issue is the opening between the two rooms is no longer a doorway but just a wide transition (the square) opening. The transition is 6.5 inches. So I don’t want a full board to go there since it would leave small slivers and seams on either side and I assume be weaker to step there. By starting with just a full board at the wall though and the staffer it would create a seam in the middle of the opening and leave a slight gap too large at the opposite wall. This means I will have to cut the first row in half at three inches right? It would again mean seams through the transitions and in the middle where people walk. But perhaps it’s unavoidable due to the size of the opening and the size of our boards?

The third issue is , do I try to keep the stagger going through the transition? Or do I treat the spaces as two separate spaces and just start the stagger in the next top corner after the transition?

Anything people with experience can see coming down the road that I’m missing? Any advice on starting or execution?

Thanks.
