My boyfriend’s succulent has something resembling sugar on it and also some isopod-like structures that might be the plant’s structures and might be pests

Idk what’s happening here, are those pests or just sand that somehow got on there???

It’s been in the house for half a year and it didn’t have that

Also what’s the succulent’s name?? It’s my first time seeing anything like that and he doesn’t know either
