When you started teaching, how many hours did you teach the first months to adapt to teaching? I have signed up for 20 hour per week schedule (3 hours weekdays & 2 hours weekends). I start next week but not sure if that's too less or too much.
On a random Friday, UCT just emailed me over a R70k debt from 2025, stating that it has been handed over to debt collectors (Metro Collect)
I am planning on getting a Standard Bank student loan to further my studies next year and worried I might not qualify due to a bad credit score :(
How screwed am I?
PS: I know Standard Bank is a loan on top of another but I need to further my studies into something more employable than a Humanities qualification I have from UCT. My qualification is also withheld so I can’t even seek abroad TEFL employment with it, hence I need a postgrad from another institution
