Help your girl out. I'm really torn whether to terminate my VUL since I've read a lot of negative comments about it. I'm in my 5th year and I intentionally skipped paying the quarterly premiums for 3 years. Got it when I was just 21. I value the life insurance benefit, but I get frustrated every time I remember that I still have to keep paying even after 10 years just to prevent the policy from lapsing in case my fund value cannot cover it anymore. It's very inconvenient.

Total payment as of today - 93k
Current fund value/ cash surrender value - 25k

For those who have VUL, how much do you pay after the 10th year? Do you think it’s worth it?
