i plan on going out the country, i’ll be leaving the week before labor day so i’ll only work like 3 days before i leave then use my vacation the week of labor day since i’ll still be gone. then the third week i’ll be coming back that sunday. my manager told me that the week of labor day might be blacked out and she’ll see if i can use my vacation but it’s not guaranteed. but i was told by my supervisor that she thinks it’s only the day before and after labor day that you can’t use it. but then i was told by another coworker that since i’m only part time that it shouldn’t matter. i plan on talking to one of the store managers when i go back to work but all of this is confusing. one of my other managers told me that certain holidays are blacked out for store managers and department leaders but he’s not sure about associates. can someone tell me what it’s like at their store ?
