Is it worth me buying an ereader?

Hello all!

I am sure the title gives away my reasoning for this post lol, but here I go anyways! I am currently trying to decide if purchasing an e reader is the right fit for me. Some background about me, I am grad student who recently fell back in love with reading. With love once again found, I am looking for something convient, cost efficient, and not overwhelming! Going back to the grad school thing, I currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment that is relatively small with limited spacing and I am finding myself overwhelmed with the number of books I already have. Also with the expenses of grad school and cost of living, spending extra money on multiple books a month really isn’t in the cards for me right now. I like the way books get me away from my phone too!

What would you recommend?

Thank you so much in advance🩷

Is a Kobo worth me getting?

Hello all! I am currently getting back into reading and I am finding myself overwhelmed with my physical books taking up so much space. Especially because I live in my apartment with limited spacing. I am thinking about getting a kobo to encourage my continuation of reading while also keeping me from being overwhelmed. One of the main reasons why I want a kobo is the seamless use between it and the Libby app. I am a grad student who also doesn't need to be investing in books all the time 😅. I know my phone is an option for reading on the Libby app but I am wanting to separate myself from my device.

Is it worth it for me to get a kobo or should I look into something else? Thanks in advance🩷

EDIT: Thank you everyone so much for all the advice! I’m convinced! I’ll def be looking into which device to get now. Thank you so much for all of your help🤍🤍
