Has anyone put a newer gen Mazda steering wheel on their P5? Trying to see if this is possible!

Hi so my mom’s 21 Kia Sorento is only blowing hot air. She refilled the refrigerant and it only worked for a week. She took it to a mechanic and they tried the dye method to find a leak but couldn’t find one. Anyone know what it could be?
