okay go easy on me please bc this is probably dumb.

why do we assume/know that cassidy is the one he should not have killed?? to me that kind of seems more like charlie (the others are like animals but i am very aware, being the protector, kind of “controlling” the others in a way.) maybe i’m just missing a lot but i feel like there isn’t much proof of cassidy/golden freddy really doing anything? like even ultimate custom night being basically purgatory/hell for afton seems like something charlie would do, not cassidy (unless there’s proof of that being cassidy idk) i just think from voice lines and other evidence most of the story kind of revolves around charlotte and her revenge (henry’s speech telling her it’s time to rest and let go of protecting everyone else), and her giving the other animatronics the spirits so the other kids have a vessel to get revenge on afton (at least how i see it) at first i thought the movie mischaracterized charlotte and gave her cassidy’s personality, but especially after she said her voice lines maybe that’s how charlottes been the whole time and we just put her motives and personality onto cassidy who hasn’t really been mentioned (again, golden freddy isn’t mentioned much and doesn’t have voice lines, and i think the story revolving a lot around puppet and her having so many voice lines is leading us to her being the revengeful “one you shouldn’t have killed”) but again, idk let me know if i’m missing key plot points or if you agree/disagree!!

Random question I was just thinking about: why do we assume cassidy is the one who shouldn’t have been killed? is there any evidence or anything of that or is it just a general assumption? i’ve always honestly thought of charlie as the one he shouldn’t have killed but if someone could pls explain why it’s cassidy and kind of her character more i would appreciate it!!!
