Hello everyone,

I'm considering transitioning into health care and becoming a LVN first. My main reason to become a LVN instead of a RN is the time and cost. I can start working as a LVN a year later and start making money. I'm thinking about attending a LVN - RN bridge program later.

I'd love to hear your advice.

1. How's the job market for LVN in Los Angeles? Is it easy to find a job after graduation without experience?
2. What's the average hourly salary for a new LVN?
3. I heard some stories about how dangerous LVN jobs can be. Is it common or does it depend on the places you work for?
4. I heard it's pretty difficult for new RNs to find jobs in California these days. Is it still worth pursing a nursing career in California given that?
