BEWARE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP SERVICE
Took my 2026 Hybrid AWD Caligraphy in for the 1st service ( at 5k miles ). They changed the oil ( Invoice shows a charge for 7 quarts ) and did a tire rotation. Checked oil level before a trip a week later found the vehicle was overfull of oil . I contacted the dealer and my wife took the car in. I had a conversation with the service rep who said " We always round up our invoice because the vehicle takes 6.3 qts of oil - and that the tech says the oil level is correct." I own a shop in Texas and had my wife stop by the next morning and i rechecked the oil level ( still overfull ) and evacuated 3/4 of a quart to bring the level back to the full mark on the dip stick. I called and left a message for the service writer - never hear back from her. I assume I'll have to check the level every oil service. I would do it myself , but wanted documentation of correct oil services being done for the warranty.
