Been working on beefing up the core physics/rendering system for my upcoming game Confettied.

It was feeling a little...dull and lifeless having the confetti just be static renderings until you interact with them, so I decided to give a much more dynamic system another go.

Utilizing Unity's Jobs system and a compute shader I managed to get quite a few leaves rendered and interactable at once...200k in this current preview, running at around 100fps+ which is more than enough.

Unlike the previous system, the confetti will now be able to be blown around and vacuumed/grabbed right out of the air, and can pile up quite nicely. Very satisfying. I might have to make a leaf game afterwards haha.

I can't wait to migrate this to the game, but it needs a little more time to bake.

Anyways, if you want enjoy the chaos of 100k+ confetti blowing around as you clean up from a Y2K office party Wishlist Confettied on Steam!
