I recently made a life choice to apply to radiology programs near me & pursue a new career in rad tech (currently work as a senior mgr for a retail company). Its a huge life pivot, but since becoming a mom 2 yrs ago my job now allows for very little scheduling changes needed for my family. About 3 weeks ago a private school I applied for reached out to me and lmk that their May cohort has some openings and asked if I wanted to move my application up? So I did and passed their entrance exam. I was feeling pretty confident, but my interview is scheduled for this Tuesday & I am now letting doubts take over. I have other school options if this doesnt work out so its not all or nothing, but I have been envisioning starting this whole chapter sooner than later & even tho this school is expensive (65k). Sorry for the rant. Im just curious if I should still be optimistic I was contacted for the earlier enrollment? How selective is the private school route? I was a great student in HS & scored high on the entrance exam so I think that should count for something. TIA.
