New Save or Continue?
Hey y'all! I started playing during the pre-release and had a lot of fun with the game and got pretty far, even clearing 16 fear iirc. However, I eventually started playing Nightreign when it came out (good ol' ADHD hyperfixation lol), and then took a break from gaming more generally as senior year of college ramped up (senior research/thesis, grad school apps, etc.). Now I've graduated and moved back home (no grad school acceptances so far due to funding cuts :( ), so I want to get back into playing Hades 2 since I had a lot of fun with it and my friend who I got hooked on Hades 1 just started playing Hades 2. When I was playing Hades 2, I had managed to defeat Chronos a few times and had even beaten Typhon once or twice. Like I said earlier, I had managed to clear up to around 16 heat, I think, and I have logged over 182 hours in the game.
My question is that since I have not played Hades 2 since the pre-release (specifically May 12th of last year, according to Steam), has enough changed about the game between the updates, the official release, and subsequent patches that I should probably just restart the game from scratch, or have there not been enough changes to the story, mechanics, character interactions, etc to make starting my old save file up again awkward?
Tl;dr: I played through most of the game a year ago during pre-release, has the game changed enough for me to restart the game or would I not miss anything if I just resumed from my old save?
