hi! we found our dream home and made an offer on it, under selling price but it is the max we can qualify for. we found out the couple selling is going through a divorce and the wife wants to accept our offer but the husband doesn’t. it’s been on the market for a few months. the couple has their lawyers involved mediating I guess to see if we can buy it for that price or not since they can’t agree. we have been waiting for an answer for two weeks, and the realtor says they are still waiting for attorneys. I’m wondering how long is normal for this to take? And do we have a good chance at this? I am so attached to this house it’s so hard for me to wait on this!
