Disillusioned with the will of StarClan, a group of cats turns their backs on the clans they once knew, abandoning tradition in search of something truer. Their journey leads them far beyond the lakeside territories, into a place whispered about only in fragments: The Riftwoods.
Once, Twolegs called the Riftwoods a national park. Now, they avoid speaking its name at all. Trails twist into places they should not lead, landmarks vanish without warning, and something deep within the forest has learned to mimic the voices of the living. Cats who wander beneath its canopy quickly realize the Riftwoods are not simply haunted - they are alive.
