Hey Everyone. Hopefully someone can give me some good advice on how to handle a situation.

My puppy will fall asleep in her bed next to me. But, sometimes I need to move her to her crate so I can get things done. She is not completely housebroken yet so I don't want her to wake up and pee on the floor when I'm busy. She has never messed her crate.

The problem is when I wake her up to move her to her crate, she will growl. She is certainly telling me to leave her alone, which I get, but she still has to go to her crate. I usually try to slowly wake her up and move her. She is getting too big to pick up. I ignore the growls but I don't want it to escalate or become a habit with the growling. I don't want to be growled at. She is only 12 weeks old so I don't want to be too harsh on her either.

If anyone has any good ideas to discourage this behavior, feel free to chime in.
