Looking to diversify my income stream the easy way (delusional but eh)

Fresh outta a dead-end job with a new one lined up. Caveat - it's 2 months away. I'm not willing to dip into my savings just yet. Got a decent portfolio and a couple of remote gigs, but sweet heavens, there HAS to be something a bit easy on the mind ? I was planning on using this time to finally take a break and focus on my hobbies but it feels like I never left the workplace at all !

A bit conflicted on this one, what do y'all think?

I get where the candidate is coming from, but I don't know if they're entirely justified, as both sides aren't exactly equivalent. Then again, can you not be bothered to afford the candidate a human interaction ?
