Hey everyone! I’ve been admitted to both ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management and Northeastern’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business (International Management), and I’m really struggling to choose between them. Would love to hear from current students, alumni, or anyone with real insight.
The things I care about most:
• Campus vibe & living atmosphere — What’s day-to-day life like? Is the city/campus environment enjoyable for international students? (Tempe/Phoenix vs Boston)
• On-campus jobs & internships — How easy is it to land something while studying? Are there strong opportunities nearby or through the school?
• Networking — Quality of alumni network, career fairs, industry connections — especially for international students looking to build a U.S. career.
A few specific questions:
1. How international-student-friendly are the campuses and surrounding cities?
2. does Thunderbird have a global reputation — does that actually translate to better opportunities on the ground?
3. Does Northeastern’s co-op program give a meaningful edge over Thunderbird’s global network?
4. How active and helpful are the alumni communities for each program?
Any honest takes — pros, cons, things you wish you knew before enrolling — would mean a lot. Thanks! 🙏
