I’m currently preparing for the D2 visa process. My goal is to launch a concierge business down in the Algarve (looking mainly at the area between Lagos and Faro).
I’m at the stage where I need professional help with the paperwork and, most importantly, drafting a solid, realistic business plan. There are tons of agencies advertising online, but to be completely honest, I don't trust standard ads. I really don't want to burn money on empty promises, hidden fees, or copy-pasted templates that get rejected.
I’d love to hear from real people who have successfully navigated this process:
- Which agency or lawyer did you use for your D2 application, and would you actually recommend them?
- Where did you get your business plan done? Did your agency handle it, or did you hire a separate specialist/consultant?
- Are there any major red flags, rip-offs, or specific companies I should absolutely run away from?
