Malaysian Politics
I swear, makin lama aq makin lost interest dengan Malaysian politics, I honestly don’t even know who I should vote for in the next election anymore. If I choose not to vote, people say I don’t love my country.
I’ve also started losing interest in the monarchy system in this country. Why do we need to maintain so many royals when in reality most of them mainly serve symbolic and ceremonial roles and act according to the Constitution, with very limited actual power?
“Protecting the rights of Malays and Bumiputera” honestly feels meaningless to me at this point. From what I see, they are mostly just protecting their own interests and trying to avoid anything that could threaten their position or privileges.
There are even certain public figures from royalty who cannot properly speak Malay, so how can the monarchy or royalty truly preserve and defend the Constitution?
That’s why some groups are becoming increasingly bold in challenging the system, and it feels like things are becoming harder to control.
