I'm between three schools: Elmhurst University, High Point University, and Baylor.
Elmhurst offered a near full ride, but I've never liked Chicago, and although I cannot visit without checking first, I assumed Elmhurst would be similar. (in terms of feeling cramped, humid, and "overly left" - I'm not right-wing)
High Point is figuring out how to offer me more in scholarships to compete with Elmhurst. They seem very interested in enrolling me, offering meetings, interviews, and calls, as well as many other opportunities.
Baylor has basically accepted me, but I haven't gotten a response on financial aid. I don't expect much. It's a closer school, and I definitely cannot afford it without tons of merit aid.
I'm from TX and wanted to leave the state, but I'd make the exception for Baylor, just want to know if it's worth it, or am I putting a halo on it for no reason lol
