Hair thinner after 3/4 months on meds after what seemed like progress
I’ve been on fin 1mg everyday (had to take 1.25mg everyday for a week or two in between because that’s what I had access to) for about 4 months now and topical min 5% foam every night for about 3 months. I also use nizoral 1% ketoconazol shampoo 2x a week. 2 weeks ago I feel like my hair felt noticeably thicker and that it definitely improved, but then got a haircut and it felt slightly thinner and now it feels like I’m back at baseline or worse. I was shedding when I started the meds but then it stopped for the most part (other than typical regular shedding) but now I’m shedding a lot more and it’s mostly seems like miniaturized hairs. Also when I started the meds I feel like the “itch” went completely away and now I feel like I sometimes get it.
Do you think this is just a normal fin/min shed at that 3/4 month mark or something else?
