Hey everyone,
I’ve worked with a bunch of founders over the past few years, and I keep seeing the same thing happen:
People spend months building something solid, launch it… and nothing happens.
No users. No traction. Just silence.
In most cases, the product isn’t the issue. It’s distribution.
You can build something genuinely useful, but if no one sees it, it might as well not exist.
One thing that’s been working really well for us lately is using TikTok as a growth channel — but not in the usual “post random clips and hope something sticks” way.
We treat it more like building a media engine around the product:
• Content is tied directly to the problem the product solves
• Each video is designed to pull a specific type of user
• Over time, it compounds into consistent traffic
What surprised me is how repeatable it actually is once you figure out the format.
For founders, it ends up being less about “going viral” and more about building a predictable funnel.
Curious if anyone here has tried TikTok (or short-form content in general) for user acquisition?
Happy to share what’s been working for us or break it down if there’s interest.
