First delivery arriving today!

My first order is arriving today and I’m really relieved to be getting started finally! I wish I made this decision 6 months ago instead of continuously putting it off!
I’m wondering what people’s process is once they get started. I understand that with the 2.5mg I probably won’t get much appetite suppression so may need to concentrate more on calorie intake initially. But once you start moving up doses and the appetite suppression kicks in, do people count calories diligently? Or is the appetite suppression optimal enough that you naturally consume the right amount of calories without thinking about it? I know it’s important to track protein and fibre intake anyway. Interested to hear people’s thoughts. Thanks!

I have finally ordered!

So after much mix deliberation and back and forth I have finally ordered my first month’s supply of mounjaro! I’m wondering what people’s experiences were when starting off? I’ll be starting on 2.5mg. My BMI is 30 and I want to lose about 2.5 stone. Should I expect any weight loss at this dosage? How soon can I move up to 5mg? Thanks!

Buying in a chain is impossible 😭

We are in the process of selling our house and buying in a different area. We were very naive when starting the process and were doing house viewings before ours was even on the market but we quickly realised this was not going to get us anywhere. We were advised to get our own house up on the market and sale agreed to put us in a strong position which is exactly what we did. We have been sale agreed for the last 12 weeks. Our buyers are being patient and knew the situation when they agreed to buy our house but I know they are getting frustrated. We lost out to a first time buyer on what I can only describe as our dream house, we offered €20k over the underbidder since they were worried about us being in a chain and they still went with the underbidder. Several other agents won’t even let us view/bid while in a chain. Now the advise is to proceed with selling our house and rent while we look. I know this would put us in the strongest position but I just can’t imagine doing this, we have three young children, rent prices are insane in our area and that’s if you are lucky enough to even find any. It’s terrifying and I just couldn’t take the risk.

Our estate agent and solicitor have given us no help, is this normal or did we pick bad ones? Do we just accept that we cannot move right now? Any positive stories to share? I feel really hopeless today.

Where to buy, GP or myBMI?

Hi all, I have been thinking of starting mounjaro for a long time but have decided to finally bite the bullet. My self confidence is on the floor and my mental health is really suffering, and also ability to be a good mum to my young kids.
I’m finding the amount of information out there overwhelming and I just want to know if I would be better going through MyBMI or going through my GP (from a cost perspective). I like the idea of having the support of my GP but I am not sure if it would be way more expensive. Would really appreciate any input. Thanks!
