1997 Outrage 20 + 2012 Yamaha 150 w/ 650h. Had sudden power failure out halibut fishing yesterday. Heard squealing at 3k rpm, slowed down and the motor died. Thank you Vessel Assist for getting us home. Pulled the cover to discover a broken timing belt pulley. Anyone have experience with this? It’s an interference engine so I suspect the worst. Have a mechanic pull the head? Straight to new powerhead? Start motor shopping? TIA
