Download 3D file of an educational project. Capital.

Educational project. Capital. A 3D model created by a learner based on a photograph. The basis for the model is a carving from an Italian catalog (https://cnc-cad-pro.com/3d/E_M_srl-Fregi_Ornamentali.pdf). The model was created as a practical exercise during individual training using CorelDRAW (vector drawing) and 3ds Max, for subsequent machining on a CNC machine. The file format is 3ds Max 2022 and higher, as well as STL. The 3D model is suitable for CNC machining. Openwork fillet (veil). Vectors and toolpaths (ArtCAM 2018) for CNC engraving

Files in ArtCAM 2018 format with predefined tools.

Tools:

  • Engraving cutters: V60, V105, V90
  • Straight end mills: d=3mm, d=6mm

File formats in the archive:

  • ArtCAM 2018 (layered, tools with toolpaths). You only need to adjust the cutting parameters for your machine.
  • .dgk (vectors with layer separation). Can be imported into different versions of ArtCAM.
  • .dxf (vectors with layer separation)
  • .eps (smoothed vectors, no layer separation)
  • 3D STL — the model is based on toolpath simulation in ArtCAM.

Panel with Lions and Birds (Remaster). Vectors and Toolpaths (ArtCAM 2018) for CNC engraving

I’ve remastered the panel. Added engravings for the lion and bird, as well as flower engraving (previously, this was hand-carved by a woodcarver after CNC machining). I also migrated and refined the toolpaths for ArtCAM 2018. In addition to the cutout version, I’ve added a solid (in-body) version of the panel.

Files are in ArtCAM 2018 format with pre-assigned tools and vectors.

Tools used: engraving bits V60, V105, V90; straight bits d=3mm, d=6mm.

File formats included in the archive:

  • ArtCAM 2018 (layered, with tools and toolpaths). You only need to adjust the cutting parameters to suit your machine.
