Question on the Funeral of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

A sincere question from a person of the book.

I am by no means an expert on Islam nor am I a Muslim, but I thought Muslim funerals ideally were supposed to take place very quickly after someone passes.

The Supreme Leader died in February I believe. Isn’t that quite a long time for him to remain unburied?

Thank you in advance for any responses educating me. 🙏

Another Noahide Question

Firstly, thank you to everybody who answered my last questions concerning Shabbat and keeping kosher. ✡️

I really appreciate all the responses and for those of you that brought it up, you’re absolutely right I should be asking my Rabbi about a lot of this.

Honestly, his intellect is very intimidating for me so I mostly ask his wife questions even though he’s a very kind and not a scary guy at all.

Also, given that he’s Hassidic I try to respect the fact that I’m a female and he’s a male and that culturally women and men are somewhat separate at Shul.

I asked my Rebbetzin if it would be OK for me to wear a head covering at Shul now that I’m remarried and she gave me the green light.

I was wondering, however, how this sub Reddit would feel about a Noahide veiling for service.

Is this something you would find offensive?

And, if not, could I please have some advice on how to do so?

I’ve included a picture of the style I’d like to emulate. Any advice on how to accomplish that look?

Thank you in advance for anybody who takes the time to read and respond. I know we’re all busy and I deeply appreciate the advice.💖

Question about Keeping Kosher from a Noahide

Shalom everyone,

I am a very happy Noahide who is trying to improve her diet for health reasons.

I truly think the dietary laws passed down to Hashem’s Chosen is divinely inspired, but I want to remain respectful of Judaism and I have heard the Talmud has some strong statements about Gentiles keeping kosher (and keeping the sabbath).

Obviously, I lack the training and knowledge to read and interpret any of the Talmud, so I was wondering how this community in general felt about a Noahide learning to keep kosher.

For context, I try to faithfully attend my local Chabad and really do love my rabbi and my community.

Thanks in advance for any advice or replies.
