Discord, Steam,Vscode,slack,teams,whatsapp,signal,spotify,etc. Why are all of them using the same motor engine? Can't they just built something new, or less heavy(I know that some alt like tauri or flutter), still. Even windows 11 has some web components on the os now. Why are they all doing this? Why can't they do like linux community does and develop native apps.

I'm not hating because anyone can use whatever they want, I don't care either of the nationality of users.

I just want to know why people trust an alpha project that just started a few months ago, owned by two people. I mean zen browser does the same too but it was made to be arc for firefox browser.

That doesn't change the fact that they are not run by big people, and that's why i ask why people trust it. Chrome,Firefox,Edge,Vivaldi,Brave,etc, they are all run by teams that maintain their browser.

That's why they are trusted. I want to know why these community-run are more trusted then corpos. Please discuss politely. Thanks
