Window facing outwards

I took this photo on 02/19/2026 while sunbathing in my room.

The reason I took this image is because it gave me a strange but good feeling: freedom, peace, calm, and that sense of a linear space, all at the same time.

Inside, everything felt closed, dark, and still. But through the window, I could see the open sky, as if there was an exit there, even without actually leaving the place.

It’s a simple photo, but to me it brings this feeling of being trapped in an ordinary space while the world outside remains huge.

Infinite Elevators

Last night, before going to sleep, I watched a few videos about liminal spaces and Backrooms. Then I turned off my phone and went to sleep normally.

In the dream, four people entered a normal elevator late at night.

At first, everything worked as it should. The doors closed, the panel lit up, and the elevator started going up. But a few seconds later, gravity began to fail. First, there was a strong pressure pushing everyone against the floor. Then a sudden pull upward. Then everyone’s bodies were thrown against one of the walls, as if the elevator were falling sideways.

The display stopped showing recognizable floors. The numbers were changing extremely fast, in a sequence impossible to follow. It no longer felt like an elevator going up inside a building. It felt like a machine passing through something that should not exist.

Then it stopped.

Floor 5.

The doors opened.

There was no hallway.

There was another elevator.

And then another.

And another.

A perfect sequence of identical cabins, open doors, identical panels, identical floors, and identical walls, all repeating forward and backward until they disappeared into the farthest point of sight.

There were no ceiling lights. The only illumination came from a small window on the left side wall. Outside, there was no street, no tree, no building, no plane, and no movement at all. Only a white sky, too clean, too empty, lighting the interior with a strange calmness.

The open and close door buttons worked.

The floor buttons did not.

The elevator did not go up.

It did not go down.

It did not lead anywhere.

It just continued.

Basic rules of this space

The place is an infinite linear space, formed by identical elevators repeating forward and backward.

There is no food, water, or bathroom.

The clock, the date, and the sense of time can become distorted.

The only thing that still works normally are the open and close door buttons.

There is no visible exit. Only more elevators.

The only connection to the “outside” is the small window showing nothing but a white sky.

The creature

Inside this space, there is a creature with an almost human appearance.

It is about the height of an average person, wearing a black suit, black pants, and black shoes, and its presence matches the environment in a strange and unsettling way. The most disturbing part is its face: deformed, misaligned, as if it had been assembled incorrectly.

This creature is not there, at first, to kill physically.

Its main role is to mess with people’s minds and push them further and further into madness. In a place where there is already no food, no water, no stable sense of time, and no exit, its presence makes the psychological deterioration even worse.

If a person is already fragile, the creature acts more on the mental side.

If a person has a stronger mind and resists for longer, the creature can become more aggressive and start acting physically as well: apparitions, distortions, scares, manipulation of the environment, and other forms of pressure meant to break that person’s sanity.

Note

The image was generated with artificial intelligence because this place does not exist anywhere. I used AI specifically to recreate, as closely as possible, what I saw in the dream.

The idea behind posting this is to show other people this liminal space that appeared inside my own dream. If anyone wants to use it as inspiration for a story, film, video, concept, discussion, or any other kind of creation, feel free to use it.
