Are no deposit free spins actually worth doing?

I've only recently started paying attention to casino offers, mainly the no deposit free spins that don't have wagering attached. Over the last couple of days, i tried a few of them and ended up making just over £25 without putting any of my own money in and i'm wonderin where the catch is.

A few casinos also have offers where you deposit £10, wager it once and then unlock another batch of free spins. On paper it almost feels like a decent deal because you're getting a lot more spins to play with, but I'm guessing the maths isn't as straightforward as it looks or everyone would be doing it.

For those of you who've been claiming these offers for a while, do you actually come out agead overall or do they mostly exist to get people through the door and keep them playing? What's your experience?

How do you guys actually choose a sportsbook these days?

trying to find a new place to bet recently and every time i search for best betting sites uk, i end up more confused than when i started.

every comparison site seems to rank completely different bookmakers at the top. one says a site is the best option available another barely mentions it, then reddit comments tella totally different story.

a few weeks ago i signed up to one that kept appearing near the top of multiple rankings. placeing bets was easy enogh, app worked fine, odds looked competitive no issues. Then i had a decent win and decided to withdraw. nothing terrible happened but suddenly there were extra verification checks and the process took way longer then i expected and it made me realise that rankings don't really tell you much about what happens after you win.

how do you guys filter through all the noise? do you trust comparison sites, player reviews or just stick to bookmakers you've used for years?

How do you choose a bookmaker?

i start looking at different soccer betting sites and i can confirm to you it's hard to tell which ones are genuinely worth using. mostly place a few bets on weekends and whenever ther's a big tournament on. I've supported Brazil since i was a kid, so i've been following them pretty closely during this world cup.

one thing is that i tend to switch bookmakers from time to time because some have markets or features that others don't. That's acutally what got me looking at reviews again recently. The problem that the more reviews i read, the more confused i get lol. one site recommends one bookmaker another recommends something completely different...

what do you guys usually look at before opening an account with a new bookmaker? and ot of curiosity, who are you backing in this world cup?
