Wait until tomorrow when the gear hunters event starts so you can double dip both. Then you can finish it up Saturday when the FK tournament starts and double dip again. The veterans know this, just a heads up to the fusion newbies.
Nothing interesting or engaging about it at all.
The speculation is that the void champ from event will be the wicked witch that will be the boss in the event dungeon. But thinking further, that champ would be a good mythical character. Have the normal form be the good witch, and the alternate form be the wicked witch. Also, the cowardly lion lends itself to some interesting possibilities, as does Toto. This event IMO has some real potential to be quite cool.
For me, it’s Kymar. I’ve wanted that dude since day 1. For the first couple years I played, I always pulled in a 10 or 15x if he was involved. No luck. Hell, I don’t even need him anymore, but I still want the dude.
We should be at the point where something could hit at just about any time.
Probably way more than half the time I use SD dust to get speed for the boots and CD on the gloves. PS I go for the CD on the amulet. I’m guessing these are the most popular uses for the dust. Occasionally I’ll go for ACC or RES if I need them. I farm SD most of the time, and I farm it a lot. Way more than I farm PS. I don’t typically use the PS dust as much. How do you use the dust?
In that it will coincide with a PR CvC which starts Tuesday. So it might be a good idea, if you can, to delay starting things until Tuesday, in order to get points for the CvC. Plus, typically a dungeon tournament begins the first day with a DD starting the following day. Which means you can triple dip and get tournament, DD and CvC points simultaneously. Just a reminder to some of the newer players.
Initially, I was going to pass on it. But after watching some videos and looking closely at his kit, I decided he will be too useful to pass up. It being a fragment fusion, it’ll be relatively easy, and won’t be a resource drain. I think I would kick myself later on if I passed on him.
But after watching some videos on him and looking closely at his kit, I just can’t pass him up. From early game all the way to late game, most players should find him very useful. Particularly in a faction that lacks good revivers. It’s a fragment fusion, which means it will be relatively easy. And he will be very easy to build. Just speed and some survivability and you are good to go.
He just looks like a champ that it would be unwise to pass up.
So are you all in or will you skip?
The inevitable question of “What’s Next?” is now being tossed around. We are now in the 2nd half of the year, typically when we see the really juicy events. Are there any rumors out there? What would you like to see in terms of an event?
Now, I’m forced to do a fusion for a poor champ. I really do want Kro’khad, but I’m not desperate for him. So I can either hold my nose and do this fusion for the token, or just skip it anyway, and delay getting that 3rd token to switch for Kro’hkhad. I’m leaning a bit toward skipping it. Yesh, it’ll delay me getting Kro’hkhad, but I see him as a luxury and not a necessity.
Anyone else struggling with this dilemma?
Then burn through almost all of it trying to get one stat. It’s quite distressing.
Those soul stones I’ve been hoarding are finally going to pay off.
Both clan and personal rewards really haven’t changed since I started playing 5 years ago. Our clan really doesn’t push very hard even when PR are at stake because the rewards are really not worth the resources expended to get them. Yes, it’s nice to get a sacred, and a nice amount of energy, etc., but most of us don’t push hard even for those, unless we are in a position to win.
Maybe some primal quartz, relic mats or some high end soul stones. It just seems the rewards need to be more enticing.
There are many milestones in the game that give players a sense of satisfaction. Getting Arbiter, Marius, Embrys, Karnage, etc., all take time and a bit of effort. Perhaps finally getting the top chest in CB, completing FW. Competing DT hard, or perhaps the hard areas of Dragon, IG or FK.
There are many areas of the game that when achieved, give a sense of satisfaction.
So what is it for you? That one thing you are most proud?
This guy has tormented me literally since I began playing more than 5 years ago. Almost from the start, he has been my most wanted champion. Any time he has been a part of a progressive, I always pulled for him. Nothing. Even after I got to the point that I didn’t even need him, I still wanted him.
Then about a year ago, I gave up. I finally accepted the fact that I am just not meant to have Prince Kymar.

You get to the point that you almost don’t want to pull shards. It seems at that point you almost always get trash Legos or dupes. Perhaps 1 in 10 or less is usable to you. It’s been a long dry spell since I pulled a good Lego. I’m sure many of you experience this, but it’s sure frustrating. Many times, I have a good supply of shards for a 2x, but I just pass on it to avoid the frustration.
