Brazilian freelancers, how do you receive payments from international clients?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand how freelancers and remote workers in Brazil usually receive payments from clients abroad.

I see people mention Wise, Payoneer, PayPal, crypto, bank transfers, Pix-related solutions, etc., but I’m curious what people actually use in practice.

For those of you who work with international clients:

- What payment method do you use today?

- Does it work well?

- Are fees a big issue?

- Is the hardest part receiving USD, converting to BRL, getting paid fast, or keeping proper records?

- Do people prefer receiving directly in BRL, USD, or stablecoins?

Not looking for tax advice or anything shady. I’m just trying to understand what freelancers in Brazil actually do in real life and where the friction still is.
