I’m not sure which program to go into
Right now I have the option to do a 1 year paramedic program at CTS with the first half of classes being online and the last 3 months for clinical would be in person vs a 2 year program with Conestoga that seems better on paper but might have the same issues as cts. I keep seeing people say that it’s very hands free and u get what u put into it, meaning a lot of self study which is fine but I don’t want any gaps in my education and want to be well prepared as a medic.
My first question is if you know anyone who has graduated from a 1 year program (CTS)and was just as prepared as other medics who graduated from 2 year programs?
The other question was if conestoga is program that will actually prepare you to be a good medic?
And if I were to graduate from any one of these programs could I find work in Toronto or do they prefer graduates from other schools
