I'm going into my 2nd year of undergrad this fall, and I need to get vet experience done ASAP. I made a list of clinics that I would like to shadow at, but how should I approach them? Should I just walk in with my resume/cover letter and ask straight up? Or should I call in advance? If I go for the face-to-face approach, should I dress business casually, or does it not matter?

Clearly, I'm anxious about this, but I already decided to dedicate the majority of my summer to shadowing a dvm/volunteering at shelters.

Im a freshman (soon to be sophomore) pre veterinary student looking to start shadowing. How many days/hours a week should I aim for? How should I approach clinics with this? Any advice is appreciated! TIA

Im 19F, about to be a sophomore in college; studying animal science with plans to go to veterinary school. Ive been spending a lot of time lately considering joining the reserves to help with my debt from school but i have no idea if its worth it. My only real concern is wasting my time and energy if it isnt worth it. Any advice is appreciated. TIA.
