SBI Cashback Card – Combined Limit / New

**Process Confusion**
I already have SBI credit cards with an existing combined/shared limit. I recently applied for the **SBI Cashback Card**.
During the application process, SBI communicated a credit-limit range of **₹40,000–₹10,00,000**, and this was also discussed with me over a verification call.
However, after the application, the new Cashback Card appears to be under the **same combined limit** as my existing SBI cards, meaning there seems to be **₹0 incremental limit** for the new card.

The application tracker currently shows **“Application Approval – Your Application is under policy check and verification.”**

Interestingly, the new card also shows a **limit enhancement option up to around ₹4.62 lakh**, but when I try to proceed, it gives a **“Regret”** response.

So I wanted to understand from people who have recently applied:
Is the combined limit shown at this stage **provisional**, since the application is still under policy check?
Or has the final credit-limit decision already been made?
If the new card gets ₹0 incremental limit, what is the purpose of the separate application/approval process?
Has anyone recently received an SBI card with a **separate/incremental limit** despite already having SBI cards?

I have already emailed SBI Card for clarification.
Would appreciate experiences from anyone who has gone through this **new combined-limit process** recently.
