Basically, what do you guys think of the idea of the fantasy side of the gate basically be treated like the zone from STALKER?

Say it opens up in a ruined world like Dark Souls or Elden Ring, there won’t be large military forces going in only small expositions. There also won’t be any large scale governments but maybe only roving groups of soldiers plus whatever monsters and wildlife are on the other side.

There might have to be more than one gate opening if more than just the military want to enter and there be an economy of smuggling things from the other side back to earth.
