I’m confused on why CS degree have that much difficult time getting a job compared to like an engineering degree… I get that SWE roles are very competetive rn but don’t CS degree have more varieties of jobs they can apply to: like IB, finance related, consulting, quant, cybersecurity, data analytics… ik they’re all extremely competitive and sought after roles but doesn’t CS degree deemed more capable in these types of field?
