Hi all, looking for some online resources to keep sharp and learn more. For context I’ll be a systems engineer integration and testing, I graduated with a BS in industrial and systems engineering. I’ve come across the NASA Systems engineering handbook but I’m just looking for more things in general.
Has anyone ever had to wait longer than the normal timeline for Secrete(120-150 days) to start? I’m in the adjudication phase after interviewing last month and offered early May but I don’t know if I can wait until August-September to start. During interview I was told I could start training with interim and calling the Security Center they said I was all good to go. I emailed my recruiter and they said I have to wait till full secret to join team. Would it be wise to ask manager if I can start training or any un-classified work?
