Hi all,

I’ve just had a look at my payslip to look at what I’d be getting backdated with the new pay rise. I was on maternity leave in July, so I wasn’t sure how much I’d get.

On my pay slip these two categories have -123.45 (not the actual numbers) next to them

1.Occupational Maternity Pay - OMP Entitlement Retro Deduction

2.Occupational Sick Pay - OSP Entitlement Deduction

I’ve not seen this before, is anyone able to explain this to me?

Deduction and a minus makes me feel I’ve had money taken off my pay slip but I don’t see how that works as I haven’t overpaid anything as far as I am aware.
