This face needs a name - What would you call this troublemaker ?
Nothing cool, but I got an honest smile on Liz's figure
I got this a long time ago, days became months, months became years. I've been a long-time member of this community, and this Liz's figure is a token of my collecting journey :)
Do you know some anime boxes other than The Otaku Box?
So lately I really enjoy collecting some anime/waifu items. I subscribed to The Otaku Box right now, so I already got some monthly items plus a waifu figure. But I really want to know if a store like this exists somewhere else. Pls help me.
WCC Drop Review
so I subbed to WCC and my first drop just came in, ngl kinda blown away
got 2 packs (SFW + NSFW versions), a waifu pin, a sticker, and a metal card
the cards actually have game mechanics built in which is sick, definitely wanna build a proper deck once I've got more of the roster.
box itself is honestly too clean to just throw away.
the metal card is the actual GOAT. it's real metal, feels like I pulled a legendary
10/10 worth it.
Unpopular opinion: If you qualify for Mexican dual citizenship and you aren’t claiming it before the 2026 US Election, you are taking a massive gamble with your future.
I see a lot of posts here about name mismatches, birth certificates, and the "technical" side of things. Those are important. But we need to talk about the elephant in the room.
We are currently in July 2026. The World Cup Final is in 9 days. The energy is great. But look at the political calendar. We are months away from one of the most polarized US elections in history, and both sides are making "stricter border enforcement" and "immigration reform" their entire platform.
Here is the reality check that nobody wants to hear:
Consulates are already at a breaking point because of the World Cup surge. If you think the lines are long now, wait until November. If there is even a hint of a major policy change regarding birthright citizenship or dual-national status, the backlogs won't be months—they will be years.
By getting your Mexican citizenship NOW, you aren't "leaving" the US. You are giving yourself a permanent, legal insurance policy.
•US Passport delays? You have a second one.
•New tax or travel restrictions for US citizens? You have a second identity.
•Want to retire or buy property in Mexico without a bank trust? You’re already a local.
Dual citizenship isn't just a "sentimental" thing for your grandparents. It is a strategic financial and legal asset. If you have a Mexican parent, you are literally sitting on a winning lottery ticket and refusing to cash it in because you're "busy."
Serious question for the 8.5k people in this sub: What is the ONE thing actually stopping you from starting your application today? Is it the cost, the confusion, or just procrastination?
Let’s be honest in the comments. Maybe we can help each other get over the hump before the election madness starts.
