I’m stuck between the Sony A6400 and the Fujifilm X-M5 and would love some real-world opinions.

This would be my first “serious” camera. I mainly want to shoot:

- portraits

- daily/lifestyle photography

- some cinematic videos (later)

- maybe a bit of travel/street photography too

I know the A6400 has amazing autofocus and a huge lens selection, but the Fujifilm looks more fun and inspiring to shoot with. Fuji colors also look really nice straight out of camera.

For people who actually used both:

- Which one would you pick in 2026?

- Which one ages better long term?

- Any regrets with either system?

Would appreciate honest opinions instead of brand loyalty 🙏
