In an interview ng former rebel during his time, a few years ago, sabi nya na maihahalintulad ang composition ng NPA members sa hourglass. Sa top part are the seniors and matatanda na, while the bottom wide part of the hour glass are the youth. The narrow part ng hourglass/ bottleneck are those in their late 20s, 30s kasi there are others na sumusuko na because of realizations or namamatay sa combat. So if this composition is still accurate to date, its' seniors (who wants to leave a legacy through their "wisdom of revolution" and youth's "fire/drive to make a change"

Now, some say/ask "bakit kasi sumasali, matatalino pa naman" "hindi ginagamit ang utak" tbh, these are the students who are woke, alam ang issues sa/ng lipunan but these are also individuals who have yet to experience how reality works/ the real world works with them participating in it na hindi na student. Alam natin itong adults, grabe ang drive or fire natin nung mga kabataan days natin, we were easily frustrated and angered, we were emotional, combine that with the hope to make a change someday, to help those in need eh possible "good" combination ito for an individual to advocate and become an activist. Now, being woke is not a problem, being an activist is not a problem and being an activist is not always = to being a communist i.m.o. So, bakit ang ibang kabataan ay nahihikayat sa pgiging "rebelde", it's because of their anger was redirected to a cause that is powered by anger/frustration + "hope" to have a better government. Hindi makakatulong na us, adults, ay sasabihin sa mga kabataan na "hindi mo alam ang ginagawa mo" , "masama yang gnagawa mo" , "walang patutunguhan yang pagsali sali mo", reprimanding them would not help for now, but this will highly likely lead them to join such causes pa. Remember, the youth also wants to participate in nation-building, and let us try to acknowledge that.

tbh, Andami ko pang gustong sabihin but to cut it short, tulungan nating adults ang mga bata to redirect their desire/fire to make a change and help those in need into more "passion-driven" services and causes that are more safe.

Kayo po, what are your thoughts?
