Urgent Advise for moving from a LTAC facility
My dad is nearly 3 months since hemorrhagic stroke and is in a LTAC facility. Since he’s arrived, he’s become worse everyday (no more following commands, no movement), and is now extremely swollen everywhere despite getting dialysis. No one seems to care about finding some sort of solution, they say it is just his body, especially because he hasn’t regained consciousness, he’s minimally conscious. I know he’s in bad health, but no one is even trying to help and he’s getting even worse. Please if anyone has been through this or can give me advice on how or where to relocate him in Southern California (OC/LA). I don’t know if I could even take him to the ER anymore. He has medical/Medicare and that makes it so hard, I’m willing to pay out of pocket I am desperate for any help
